AAFES History Preservation Project
The AAFES History Program collects and archives personal stories, photos and documents from AAFES associates and retirees who have supported the U.S. Military in peacetime and wartime. The program also welcomes input from military members, dependents, and veterans who want to tell their stories of the Army and Air Force Exchange Service.

9/11 through OEF/OIF Special Project

The AAFES History Program needs volunteers
to help collect and preserve our history

AAFES history can be told through:
Personal narratives: audio/video-taped interviews and written memoirs.
Correspondence: letters, postcards, e-mail, personal diaries
Visual images: photographs, locally produced signing and sales flyers

How to participate:
Download and print the AAFES history preservation packet (PDF). This packet
